Routines
Quarantine changed the way I lived. I spent time inside a lot more, in front of a computer existing remotely. And that's why when things eased up a bit more, I picked up new things to do, new hobbies that I never thought I would do, new methods of living. I developed a routine. This project marks a pivotal moment, since it was my return to creating personal projects for myself and regaining my style after 2 years, and I wanted it to be a documentation of my routine that has drastically changed.
Switch on the light, it's a new day. 3D.
Teatime. Fluid simulation made with Houdini. 3D.
I started collecting records during the pandemic, and It's become one of my favorite hobbies. Pictured here is Glitch Princess by Yeule. 3D.
Biking has become a staple in my set of routines. every Sunday, I fit my bike in the back of my car and take it to San Francisco, where I have my usual route that spans 12 miles back and forth throughout Golden Gate Park. 2D.
I'm a pretty online guy now, working remotely, usually on Youtube or Discord, consuming the latest media on my recommendations at 2x speed. 3D.
I've always loved music, I used to play violin in high school. I got into playing the piano during quarantine, and I try to just learn music I really want to learn to play. 2D.
I love driving. Being in an enclosed space and going from point A to point B is such an experience. Especially when you're able to see outside and have your music on at the same time. I drove a lot more to SF after quarantine eased up. 3D.
Being in bed and scrolling away is something that has become part of my routine for better or for worse. These are the moments before the cycle loops all over again. 3D.
